Seam Carving GUI is a very interesting image scaling tool that uses Content Aware to resize the image. It allows you to intelligently cut graphics, which, unlike other applications of this type, does not proportionally change its size, but adds or removes pixels from it accordingly. There are many benefits of using such a method of resizing photography.
Most users will certainly appreciate the fact that any scaling of the photo does not distort important elements of it, such as the face of a person, building, trees, etc. The image can be scaled in any way. With the help of Seam Carving GUI we can easily transform vertically oriented graphics into horizontal ones, create a panorama from an ordinary photo, and even remove unnecessary objects from it.
Working with the program is very easy, but if you modify photos with many elements, it can also be tedious. It consists in marking with a special tool (working on a mask principle) all important elements, as well as those that we would like to remove from the photo. The first one is "coloured" in green, the second one in red.
Seam Carving GUI offers several modes of operation with user-defined objects. The tool also allows for standard scaling of graphics, i.e. specifying the dimensions to which it is to be scaled.
Seam Carving GUI supports most of the most popular graphic formats (BMP, JPEG, JPG, PNG, PPM, TIF, TIFF, XBM and XPM), allowing to save the created masks on the disk.
