RKill is a small tool to protect your computer against malware, useful in cases where your computer has already been infected by malware. It allows you to deactivate harmful processes and components in your system that block the ability to run other programs - including antivirus software. The tool is maintenance-free and works in text mode from the command line.
When started, it searches for and then disables harmful services and system processes, removes entries created by malware from the Windows registry, and resets the links of EXE, COM and BAT files. In case of operation on the system registry, RKill automatically makes a copy of the registry, which can be restored at any time in case of failure. RKill is a completely safe tool and you should not be afraid that it will cause any damage to the system.
All actions performed by the program are aimed at enabling the launch of e.g. anti-virus software, which in turn will give the user the ability to permanently remove all detected pests from the computer. At the end of its operation, the tool displays a report containing information about all detected and deactivated malware components.
