Redneck Rampage is a FPP shooter based on the technology used in Duke Nukem 3D, which wanted to trample its own path to independence through rural areas. The game was treated here with an even more pinch of salt, throwing the player into the exaggerated environment of American farmers, hostile to all strangers, if not aliens. These have stolen the hero of the game his favorite piglet.
They also quickly took control over the not too clenched, but armed to the teeth of the locals, so you have to be constantly on guard. You should also be careful about local fauna, because if ubiquitous chickens don't like to attack too much, for example huge mosquitoes is a completely different matter. Standard weapons such as pistols, rifles or dynamites are used to eliminate enemies.
Stronger weapons were buried. Redneck Rampage didn't stand out in terms of graphics in its time, betting rather on especially weak humour flights, but it added a few pennies to the development of the shooter genre. It made it possible to move various elements of the set design, used ladders to climb higher, as well as added indicators of alcohol intoxication and satiety, which translated into better offensive and defensive skills, and after looking deeper into the bottle, the hero became a fast, deadly heartbeat.
The trial version offers to play a fairly extensive first stage of the story, in which many opponents to eliminate, and things to find. To have fun you will need to download and run the DOSBox program. We also recommend that you read the video tutorial on how to configure it correctly.
