CPU and memory consumption, number of items in the basket, watch, calendar, weather, etc. The Rainmeter is a free tool that allows you to display widgets with information about your computer on your desktop. Unlike Sidebara, which is known from Windows, it offers much greater possibilities of configuring individual elements.
The program allows you to create bars on which you can place components responsible for displaying free disk space, use of RAM and virtual exchange memory, CPU load, battery charge level in your laptop and many others, but also place the so-called gadgets directly on the desktop. Among the ingredients available in the program, apart from the most common add-ons, you can also find gadgets serving as an RSS reader, a simple mail client, a notepad, and such allowing you to send messages on Twitter, etc. The program is also available in the form of gadgets.
Rainmeter allows you to configure the position of each component - just click on the selected component and drag it to any place on the desktop or bar, as well as change their appearance (apart from the huge number of skins available, the user can modify each of them at his or her own discretion). For example, you can change the transparency level and size of the components from the component preview, while all details are editable through a text file that can be accessed through the management panel.
