Puffin Browser is a fast web browser on Windows, which compresses pages before loading, significantly accelerating the loading of websites. The program achieves these results by partially transferring the calculations to the cloud (the connection to it is encrypted). This approach means that the size of the pages is reduced, which makes it possible to load them even several times faster than other popular browsers, such as Microsoft Edge, Chrome or Firefox.

Puffin Browser is based on the Blink engine. The browser also focuses on security and privacy. Although the program has a typical incognito mode, the classic web browsing mode is also sufficient to effectively erase traces of activity.

Most probably because at the moment we are dealing only with the development version of the program, we will not find too many settings in it. You can change the location of saving files, set the default search engine, and disable pop-up blocking and saving passwords. You can also add bookmarks and view the history.

After starting Puffin can restore the last session, which will allow you to continue the previously abandoned work (this is the default setting) or open a new tab view. This one is easy to read and provides convenient shortcuts to selected bookmarks, which can speed up the display of the most frequently visited websites.
