The application is designed to monitor and control processor resources used by processes running in the system. Process Tamer lowers the priority of the program, which at a given moment places the most burden on the processor. This allows the CPU power to be used by other programs, and the system should not stop responding.

Additionally, in the program settings you can define for which Process Tamer processes it is supposed to lower the priority and see the average and current CPU usage. Version 2 of the program is as efficient as the previous one, but it also has friendly windows, where you can set parameters such as switching off balloon hints, changing icons or including logs.
