PowerGREP is a tool for searching for files stored on your computer's hard drive or network. It is much easier to use than most other applications of this type for Windows. With this program you can quickly find the files, folders, archives, archives, Microsoft Word documents, Microsoft Excel, Lotus 1-2-3 and Quattro Pro sheets, files saved in PDF format, as well as OpenOffice office documents.

Of course, this is not all - the application is great at finding also other content placed on the hard disk or other data warehouses. PowerGREP does not require the user to know the full name of the file they are looking for - just type in the phrase fragments, and the program will certainly be able to reach the document we need. With one or more regular expressions, you can search for and replace the desired phrases, making it easy to manage web pages, source codes, reports, etc., and you can also search for and replace the phrases you want to use.

You can also retrieve statistical data and extract the necessary information from log files and large datasets. It is worth mentioning that PowerGREP contains a built-in text and binary file editor. Noteworthy is compatibility with Perl, Java and .NET regular expressions, wide support for text encoding:
