Power Plan Assistant is a small tool that should be of interest to every owner of a laptop or netbook. It was created to manage power in Windows 7/8 and unlike the mechanism built in the system offers several interesting solutions. The program expands the power management capabilities of the system by such options as the ability to perform one of the available actions (e.g.
turning off the screen, blocking the computer or starting the screen saver) in the effect of placing the cursor in the left corner of the screen or double-clicking the mouse. Of course, it can also be operated by means of keyboard shortcuts. Furthermore, Power Plan Assistant allows you to switch from power mode to economical when the battery is discharged (to the degree selected in the settings) and to define the modes that will be automatically activated when the power supply is connected/disconnected.
Power Plan Assistant works within the system tray without disturbing the user in his daily work. Using the icon available there, it is possible to configure the tool, as well as conveniently change the power plans used at the moment.
