Pokki is an interesting client of the most popular web services and applications. It gives you instant access to your Facebook profile, GMail, RSS feeds, weather forecasts and much more, without having to start your web browser. The application is installed as a gadget available from the Windows taskbar.

By default, we offer only a module that allows you to support our Facebook account, but Pokki has a set of several additional modules, the installation of which is limited only to clicking on the appropriate icon in the main window. Among the most interesting of them, apart from the Facebook component mentioned above, we will also find a GMail and Twitter client. Unlike most of these tools, Pokki not only provides information about new entries in our profile or friends' profile, new mail, etc., but also gives you the ability to write and publish your own entries and create and send emails, manage folders and messages in your inbox.

The set of modules built into Pokki also includes a news reader from user-added RSS feeds, a component that displays the weather forecast for a given location, a module that allows you to search for information through Google's search engine and several other news services. Most of the gadgets available from Pokki are ready to use right after installation. The exception are customers of services that require logging in to their own profile.
