PDF Sam is a basic and free edition of a small tool for editing documents in PDF format. The functions available from its level allow, among others, to divide and merge PDF files, mix and rotate selected pages by a given angle. Individual operations on documents are performed from the appropriate tabs, which present plug-ins installed in the program.

Thanks to them we can easily and conveniently divide the PDF file into parts (the available options include dividing it into single pages, extracting selected pages, dividing it according to odd and even pages and indicated size), rotate all or only selected pages by a given angle, change their order or remove unwanted positions from the document. Finished projects can be saved to PDF files in version 1.5, 1.6 or 1.7, also subjecting them to compression. PDF Sam offers a built-in PDF viewer that allows you to preview documents without having to save them and use additional software for this purpose.

The application is able to work with documents, access to which is password protected. The program is written in Java and can be run on any computer with Java running environment installed, i.e. running Windows, Linux or Mac OS systems.

Although the interface looks a bit outdated, it is intuitive and easy to use, also offering support for graphic motifs. A slight disadvantage of PDF itself is the lack of complete pollen. Using the tool it is not difficult to find options, commands, etc.
