PCMark05 is the most popular and highly valued program for testing the performance of individual system components. The application enables testing of the processor, operating memory, hard disk, as well as general system load tests. PCMark presents the results of tests in points which are so reliable that we can compare these results with the results obtained on other computers, available on the manufacturer's website.

The general rule is that the more points the better :-) The Basic version has been functionally limited. More tests, the ability to change configuration, export results, or full manufacturer support is possible in Advanced and PRO versions. - Windows XP or Vista operating system - 1.4 GHz or faster processor, supporting SSE - 128 MB of RAM (recommended 256 MB) - 110 MB of free hard disk space - DirectX 7.0 installed (Graphics testing requires version 9.0c and compatible graphics card) - Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, Microsoft Media Encoder 9 and Media Player 10 software installed.
