Parkdale is a small and easy-to-install tool for testing the read/write speed of hard drives, CD/DVD drives, network servers and various types of portable data storage, including memory cards. The program offers 3 modes of operation, QuickAccess to measure the speed of data transfer on the indicated disk using blocks of a defined size (and total data size), FileAccess, which allows testing access to files/folders selected by the user, and BlockAccess, which examines block access to data using one of the available methods of analysis (linear, random or based on block ends). The results of the tests are presented in text form in the main window of the tool.
The user can measure with blocks from 64 KB to 1 MB.
