Panolapse is a small graphic application for photographers. With its use it is possible to create time-lapse films (so called timelaps) from a collection of photos without the need to have professional (and often very expensive) equipment. Time lapse films and animations (timelapses) are video materials created on the basis of specially prepared photographs of a selected frame.

This technique often requires the creation of a very large number of images at different intervals, and then their proper editing and display at an accelerated rate. Working on timelaps requires the user to have appropriate knowledge, as well as expensive equipment (digital camera, tripod and rails). Panolapse is a golden mean for stop-motion animation enthusiasts, allowing you to create really interesting and impressive videos in a convenient way using standard cameras and digital SLRs.

The program gives the user the opportunity to enrich standard stop motion animations with various interesting effects, which in standard conditions require equipment such as professional tripods and rails. With his help, we will introduce to our videos the effects of moving the camera, realizing not only using the enlargement of its relevant areas, but also a complex simulation of perspective. Panolapse has a whole range of functions and tools to manipulate the various attributes of photography.

Other applications include the ability to create animations from widescreen photos. Finished projects can be exported to JPG, MP4 and MOV files. To create images that are then processed in Panolapse, the photographer recommends the use of wide-angle lenses.
