Open Hardware Monitor is a small and very simple tool that provides information about the operating temperatures of all computer components equipped with appropriate sensors. The program is able to read information about temperatures of individual cores of Intel or AMD processors, nVidia and AMD GPUs, as well as all common hard drives available on the market. In addition to the Open Hardware Monitor technology, it also provides information about CPU core frequency and usage, motherboard voltages for various components, amount of available and remaining RAM and GPU memory, amount of free disk space and fan speed.
Open Hardware Monitor is distributed in a portable form and is ready to use right after downloading. During operation, the program is available as a system tray and optionally as a widget displayed on the desktop.
