Notepad2 is a small and fast text editor that is a great tool for all programmers and a replacement for the standard Windows notepad. In addition to a more eye-catching look, the program offers a whole range of easily accessible options for more advanced users - line ending conversion between Unix/Mac/Windows formats, syntax backlighting for popular programming languages, support for regular expressions and character encoding changes (UTF-8, ISO-8859-2, Windows-1250 and others). Despite adding so many options to the program, it is still easy to use and has a lot of configuration possibilities, which is its main advantage.

In addition, Notepad2 allows you to replace the System Notepad from the main program menu (Settings > System Notepad Replacement). The program does not require installation. - Syntax colouring:
