Anti-virus program of the world-renowned Norwegian security company Norman ASA. Norman Virus Control is based on the powerful Norman Scanning Engine (NSE), which is fast and effective in detecting all types of viruses and other unauthorized programs. The program has a convenient and Polish-speaking interface, and is very easy to use.

The very low calculated price of the programme in Poland is noteworthy, which, however, has not caused it to gain mass popularity so far. The NSE can operate in two independent "on-demand" or "on-demand" modes. On-access mode keeps track of every operation of writing / reading files or starting the application, and in case of detection of irregularities, the virus is immediately blocked before execution and isolated, or immediately removed, depending on the configuration of the program.

On-demand mode scans only selected areas of the computer (floppy disks, disks, folders or individual files). The user can order an antivirus test once at a given moment, with a certain delay or cyclically according to the assumed key. An important feature of NVC software is the ability to automatically update the software over the Internet.

After installation, the program working "in the background" is completely invisible for users. A special Task Editor for creating task scripts for NVC is an additional tool improving automatic virus protection. Note:
