NaviFirm+ is a small but very useful tool for all Nokia phone owners who would like to download internal firmware for their device. The program allows you to download any ever released firmware version released for any model of Nokia. Thanks to this it is possible not only to restore the phone's factory software, but also to update it to the latest version, or change it to another one, e.g.

in Polish or one that does not have the settings and additions of the phone operator (e.g. wallpaper or starter animation). The latter, although technically possible, may already be associated with the loss of warranty.

Despite the lack of Polish language version, NaviFirm+ is banally easy to use. From the level of one window of the program you can choose: phone model, firmware version and device variant which you are interested in.

For some models, the number of available variants may cause headaches, so at each stage of the program gives the possibility to filter the results. In order to avoid mistakes, it is best to search for the desired firmware by entering the code of the device, which is usually found on the nameplate under the battery. Finally, all that remains is to indicate the items we are interested in and, if necessary, to indicate the appropriate folder on your hard drive.

NaviFirm+ downloads firmware images directly from the manufacturer's servers, so you can be sure that the software is original, complete and unmodified by unauthorized persons. A side functionality of the program is the ability to check product codes for all models and varieties of phones, including variants for different markets (countries) and operators. The program engine has been rewritten, there is no longer any problem with downloading images after changes introduced by Nokia, the list of product codes has been improved, improved file caching has been implemented (it is now supported by the server), the transmitted files are compressed, the interface has also been improved, and the program will automatically download and install its updates.

Unfortunately, the program is currently paid - it is required to make a symbolic donation of min. 3 Euro through PayPal (this can be done from the program level), however, taking into account the usefulness of the tool, these are not excessive expectations from the author's side. NaviFirm+ does not allow you to perform the firmware update process alone.
