My Lockbox is a simple tool that is ideal for beginners who would like to protect their confidential data from other computer users. From the level of the program we can create a special folder in any location on our disk, which in a way performs the function of a virtual safe. All data, files and folders can be hidden and protected at any time.

My Lockbox makes the contents of this safe folder, as well as it is not accessible to anyone who even gets physical access to the computer. Operation of this small program is trivially simple. You just need to define a directory in which to store confidential data, place it there and block access to it (the 'Lock' button).

In order to unlock our files and folders you have to enter your password correctly and click 'Unlock' in the program window. My Lockbox runs on the system tray, from where we can manage the configuration of the program. It offers several interesting options, with the help of which the safe folder will be automatically locked when we sleep/hibernate the computer or the user will not be active for a given period of time.

The program also provides the possibility to define keystroke shortcuts and a list of trusted processes that can use secured data.
