Microsoft OneDrive (formerly SkyDrive) is a small application that allows you to access the data stored in the OneDrive service offered by Microsoft directly from the operating system (without having to run a web browser). After installing and correctly logging in to the service, the application allows you to save and read the data that we have collected on the Internet OneDrive. It can be accessed from a special folder, the location of which is determined during the initial configuration of the tool.
You can easily create new folders, move and delete files, rename files, and so on. Of course, Microsoft OneDrive also offers data synchronization between all the computers and smartphones on which we have installed the client application and logged into our account. The application can be managed from the icon available in the system tray.
It allows you to conveniently increase (purchase) the capacity of our Internet drive, open its contents in your web browser and change the basic settings. These include the option of remote access to files, which is responsible for nothing else but data synchronization, and automatic launch of OneDrive service during the boot of the operating system. A great advantage of Microsoft OneDrive application is its multi-platformity.
It is available for Windows and Mac OS, as well as smartphones running Android, iOS or Windows Phone.
