A Polish software inventory program for the company. The License Manager allows you to remotely download information about the installed software from all company computers on your local network. Optionally, they can also be transferred on diskettes.
Information is downloaded about all kinds of programs so you can control not only commercial applications but also check if there are no undesired programs installed on particular workstations (e.g. for direct file exchange in p2p networks). The program generates reports in popular formats, according to computer workstations or names of programs.
The list of licenses will allow you to compare the list of installed programs with the licenses entitling you to use them. The program consists of two modules: Server License Manager and Client License Manager.
You need to install the Server License Manager and Client License Manager on the computer from which you want to check the status of the software. You will need to install the Client License Manager on other computers. On Microsoft Windows XP units with Service Pack 2 and firewall installed, and on all types of Microsoft Windows systems with firewall software installed, you may need to unblock one of your computer's network ports (5703 by default).
You will not be able to download information about the installed software from computers that have a blocked network port used by the program.
