Manic Digger is a project that has been developed for many years, whose frame and gameplay strongly resembles the popular Minecraft. What distinguishes the game from the direct competitor is the fact that it is completely free, and at the same time it is focused primarily on sneaking around the area and destroying and building the world. However, it also supports online gameplay, where the rules of joyful fun can be completely different....
In the basic mode, we enter a randomly generated angular world and imprint our artistic stigma on it. We do not need any special tools. We can dispose of blocks from various materials and put up new ones, available from a handy palette of options.
The generated environment is saved to a file created at the very beginning of the game, so nothing will be lost. You can start all over again simply by saving a file with a completely different name. It's more fun to jump on one of the multiplayer servers.
Here, in addition to carefully assembled landscapes to look at or entire cities, which we can expand or ruin ourselves, there are also alternative play modes. Manic Digger can also be a graphically efficient shooter. It is worth noting that this project is also being developed in versions for Linux and OS X.
In addition, an experimental version for web browsers has been launched. In order to play on the network you will need to register a free account on the list of servers. Otherwise you will not be able to join the multiplayer game.
The mode for loners does not require such an account.
