For the latter, the tool supports DirectX 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and OpenGL-based titles, and, as the developers provide, it also enables efficient image storage at 60fps at 1080p resolution. Other noteworthy features of the program include PIP (Picture-in-Picture) mode, which allows for the creation of video training courses, in which the image of the desktop and the lecturer recorded by a webcam will be recorded and combined into a single whole. There were also options to add a title, any subtitles or logos to the image, preview the recorded video, hide the mouse cursor, schedule recordings and draw on the screen using tools such as a pencil.
LiteCam HD can be successfully used to extract soundtrack from any video material. LiteCam HD is based on Rsupport Screen Capture Codec (RSCC) codec, which allows for more efficient saving of the recorded image (up to 30% in comparison to the competition), while using less available system resources.
