KindleGen is Amazon's proprietary tool for converting HTML, XHTML and EPUB files to the KF8 format used by the company's new readers. The program may be useful when we want maximum compatibility with the Kindle format and/or it is necessary to convert multiple files at the same time. Note:

the program works only from the command line. After unpacking the ZIP archive to the selected location, run the Windows console (CMD.EXE) and run KindleGen from the selected directory. Conversion effects can be viewed using the Kindle Previewer program.
