IOBit Protected Folder allows you to effectively protect sensitive data against other computer users. The program was created mainly for beginners who would like to prevent access to private files by unauthorized persons. It does not require almost any configuration, it is enough to run the program, define the main password and proceed to data protection.

It is also very simple and limited to loading in the main program window the files and folders we would like to hide. By default, IOBit Protected Folder hides the indicated data in such a way that they are not visible from the system Explorer or any other application. However, you can change the way you protect your data in the tool options.

There are modes available that only allow you to block reading or writing files. The mechanism of the exclusion list has also been made available to the user.
