The Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool is a diagnostic tool for Intel-produced CPUs that will test the performance and stability of your CPU. The user can select one of three modes of Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool before starting the test: Quick Test, Full Functional Test and Burn In Test, as well as define various parameters, including chip load time and processor temperature tolerance.
The Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool checks various processor parameters such as operating temperature, base clock, cache memory, first and floating point generation, MMX and SSE instructions, AVX extensions, voltages and PCH controller enumeration. In addition, an integrated Intel graphics card is also being tested. If the summary shows that the CPU is not working properly, a relative error message will appear on the screen.
It is also worth mentioning that the report generated by the Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool can be saved as a text file.
