Instantbird is a simple multi-communicator that is available for Windows, Linux and Mac OS platforms. The program supports most of the most popular network protocols - AIM, Facebook Chat, Gadu-Gadu, Google Talk, GroupWise, ICQ, IRC, MSN, MySpaceIM, Netsoul, QQ, SIMPLE, Yahoo and XMPP. It was created on the basis of Firefox and Pidgin, using the best and proven solutions from these applications.

Its greatest advantage is its enormous simplicity and a large number of configuration options. Instantbird allows you to chat with users of multiple networks, and each of them is available in a separate tab. As with Firefox, card management is just as easy and convenient, and for example, dragging a bookmark opens a new window with a conversation.

In addition, the instant messenger supports many extensions and styles that allow the user to customize the functionality and appearance of the application to their own preferences. Since version 0.2 Instantbird is available in Polish language version.
