IE Tab 2 for Firefox is an extension for Firefox that allows the user to view web content using Internet Explorer. Thanks to it, from the level of Firefox we will open websites that require various mechanisms and functions implemented/supported only by Internet Explorer to work properly. Using the extension, you can browse websites requiring ActiveX controls directly in Firefox tabs, display and handle files stored on your computer's hard drive (using Windows Explorer), use Outlook Web Access and Sharepoint platform functions, available only from Internet Explorer.

IE Tab 2 for Firefox will also be appreciated by web developers, as it allows you to conveniently check the display of projects in Microsoft's browser without having to run it. The extension allows you to display pages in Firefox tabs using rendering engines used in Internet Explorer 7, 8, and 9. Other features available in IE Tab 2 for Firefox include Auto URL to create a list of URLs that will automatically be run using IE, as well as lists of excluded pages.
