HomeGuard is a tool that allows you to monitor selected open and closed areas (e.g. a child's room with a caretaker or a construction site) using a USB camera. When HomeGuard detects an intruder using a motion detection system, it will inform the intruder in various ways (e.g.

by sending an e-mail to the indicated address along with a screenshot straight from the camera or by saving a copy of the image on the computer's hard drive). HomeGuard can also record the event in a special log or activate a user-defined audio signal. HomeGuard uses DirectX technology, thanks to which switching between cameras (support for up to 127 devices) is extremely efficient.
