HFSExplorer is an application that allows you to access Mac partitions (HFS, HFS+ and HFSX) from Windows. It has a built-in graphical file viewer that, in addition to previewing the content, allows you to extract selected files to disk, providing detailed information about them and creating disk images from Mac partitions. HFSExplorer can also handle DMG images, both compressed (zlib2, bzip2) and encrypted with AES-128 algorithm.

For proper operation of the program it is required to install a virtual Java machine version 5.0 or later in the system. It is available for download in the section PROGRAMS -> Add-ons -> Libraries and other add-ons (see: Related Programs).
