HandBrake is a free multiplatform tool for converting the content of DVD media to formats (MPEG-4, H.264, Theora, MP4, MKV) compatible with mobile devices. The biggest advantage of the application is support for multiple processors, which significantly accelerates the process of data conversion and support for 64-bit systems (Mac OS and Linux). To facilitate the use of the application, the authors have prepared a list of predefined settings for Apple's mobile devices (iPod, iPhone and Apple TV).
