Geekbench is a versatile and easy to use tool available for many operating systems (Windows, Linux and Mac OS X). Its task is to test the performance of the processor and RAM for the speed at which various applications run and run. The program supports both older and newer processor models, which are used in home computers or servers.

Built-in benchmarks allow you to test single- or multi-core processors in aspects such as multithreading and multi-core. Geekbench checks how the computer handles e.g. encryption, compression of text and images, tests the speed of writing and reading data to memory, support for streams, etc.

Geekbench also checks how the computer manages encryption, compression of text and images, tests the speed of writing and reading data to memory, etc. Importantly, the tests can be carried out in the 32- and 64-bit architecture variants. Geekbench does not offer the user any configuration options.

After starting and clicking the 'Run Benchmarks' button, the program starts performance tests with the use of various mechanisms. As a result of their work, a report is displayed, including information about the processor and RAM, the amount of points obtained, as well as bar diagrams showing the performance of the computer in various situations. The report can be saved on a disk or sent to the manufacturer's website, where users can compare the results achieved by their computers.
