Game Editor is considered by many developers to be one of the easiest game development programs for platforms such as Windows, Linux, Pocket PC, Windows Mobile, GP2X, Smartphones and Handheld PC. The application offers a number of ready-to-use functions allowing you to control characters, elements in the game, sounds, events while manipulating the mouse or pressing the keys available on the keyboard. The most important features mentioned by the manufacturer include the ability to clone characters, import multiple image formats (jpeg, gif, png, bmp, pcx, tga, xpm, xcf, lbm) or create multiple maps in one file.

Another interesting option offered by Game Editor is to preview the board from the actor's eye level. The demo version of the application allows you to import games only for Windows platform.
