Gajim is a multi-platform Internet communicator for Linux and Windows, which is based on the XMPP protocol. Thanks to the use of transports offered in the Jabber network, Gajima users can easily communicate with users of such networks as Gadu-Gadu, Tlen, Yahoo, MSN, AIM or ICQ. Among the many features offered by Gajim we can find such as grouped calls on cards of one window, file transfers to different networks, displaying meta-contacts in the main window of the program, support for emoticons, avatars, spell-checking and much more.
A very useful option of this communicator is to support multiple accounts at the same time and the ability to browse the services and register on Jabber servers.
