Free Audio Extractor is a small and free tool for converting audio files between different formats and downloading soundtracks from movies to hard disk. In addition, it offers a feature that allows you to work with only selected fragments of audio or video files. One of the main advantages of Free Audio Extractor is its ease of use.

To convert the sound, simply load the files into a list of tasks, select the output format and configure the codec accordingly, and then click the "Save as" button. The program is good at converting multiple files at the same time, giving you the ability to cut out and then re-code only the selected part of the path. Free Audio Extractor on the input supports AVI, FLV, MP4, MOV, AAC, M4A, MP3, MP2, WAV, MKV and WMV files, allowing them to be converted to MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC and WMA formats.

The program allows you to set the bitrate, VBR variable, and the number of channels. All re-coded files are saved at the location you specify in your tool settings. The program is currently available in English, French and Turkish, but its operation does not require specialist knowledge and should not cause problems even for novice users.
