FossaMail is a free open source email client and is an alternative to the popular Thunderbird (from which it was created). It was prepared to work with the Pale Moon browser, for which the same programmers are responsible. The mail client (as well as the browser) is fully independent of the Mozilla software.

FossaMail gives us exactly the same possibilities as Thunderbird - basic activities in your email account, adding, editing address book entries, filtering messages, chat, etc. The program also has a built-in calendar and organizer. The only difference that can be seen from the beginning is based on a more pleasant, minimalist, clearer interface than the competitor.

A useful additional feature is the built-in backup tool. In general, the programme is very stable in operation and does not stand out in terms of speed (positive or negative) compared to others. Contrary to developers' assurances, the problem so far is cooperation with some Thunderbird plug-ins, you can also experience them with IMAP accounts.
