FooPlayer is a simple media player with above-average functionality that allows you to play music, movies from files, as well as DVD and (S)VCD media, while supporting most of the most popular audio/video formats. The application is equipped with a user-friendly and aesthetic graphic interface. It is characterized by the speed of loading multimedia (including films of the highest quality) and low demand for system resources.

The player supports subtitles, supports most common audio playback standards (stereo, 4.0/5.1 Surround), audio filters and graphical correction, multi aspect ratio display, and interlacing (using multiple modes). There was also support for M3U, M3U8 and PLS playlists, as well as manipulation of basic parameters of the displayed image. FooPlayer has tools to create screenshots of video playback, define the playback speed, level the shift of the soundtrack relative to the image, and support keystroke shortcuts to make working with the program more efficient.

Supported multimedia formats include AVI, MP4, MKV, MOV, FLV, MPEG, MP3, WAV, OGG, VOB, FLAC, ASF, WMV, WMA, RM, RMVB, DVD, (S)VCD and more. Other interesting features of the application include support for extensions and the function of recording images from the screen of our computer.
