Flutter is a simple and free tool that allows you to control your Windows 7 audio/video player with your hand gestures. The program for proper operation requires a webcam installed in the computer. It is through it that he detects user gestures, and then interprets them by performing corresponding operations in the media player.
Flutter does not require any configuration from the user and is ready to work right after installation. Artists have defined 3 gestures in the tool, allowing you to pause/repeat and switch between songs or movies in the playlist. Unfortunately, the user is not able to create additional gestures and assign tasks to them, or even change the gestures already available.
Nevertheless, its great advantage is the high recognition of gestures. Flutter supports most of the most popular media players - Windows Media Player, VLC, iTunes, QuickPlayer, Winamp and many others. After starting it can be found in the system tray, from where it informs us about e.g.
a positively performed operation or which active player we currently control.
