FeedDemon is a powerful RSS and Atom feed reader. The program is very flexible and provides many useful tools. Read articles can be opened in the new program tab or in the default browser.

The flagship feature of the product is, of course, synchronization with your Google Account, so that all articles, folders, forwarding articles and tags are available from any computer with FeedDemon installed. Share an article on Facebook, Twitter, Digg, Delicious or your own blog with just one click. In addition, selected articles can be saved for reading without access to the Internet.

An excellent addition to the reader is the system of adding tags (keywords), so that it is possible to classify articles and easy search. An ideal complement to the tagging system is the ability to monitor keywords appearing in articles, also in channels not added to the subscription. The whole thing is closed by the possibility of automatic download of podcasts, which can be copied from the program to a portable player.

The interface of the program is very clear and also quite flexible. The user can define sound notifications, keyboard shortcuts used in the program, fonts used to display articles and color scheme. Three views are available for articles:

header only, header and summary, and full article. All operations, such as forwarding, tagging, assigning a flag and opening in an external browser, can be carried out using the buttons located next to the article title. For more space for text, you can hide the side panel with the subscription tree.
