Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST for short) is an advanced tool designed to diagnose and remove infections from computers where it is not possible to run the operating system. It has been adapted to run from the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE), which enables, among others, diagnosis and repair of Windows systems from the XP/Vista/7/8/10 family. The software has been created to fight against malware on damaged or unbootable Windows systems.

It allows you to scan your computer and create a logo containing information about typical malware loading points. It analyzes all system boot components in search of infections, thus enabling the elimination of hard-to-remove pests with standard pest control applications, e.g. blocking the start of a Windows environment.

During its operation, the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool allows you to create special logs that can contain information about such components as system registry, services and processes, device drivers and DLL libraries. From its level we will also search for any user-defined files. The 'Fix' option, which is based on previously created logs using the tool, is used to fix the detected problems.
