EasyHDR is an interesting alternative to Photomatix Pro tool, created for HDR image lovers. Easily combine photos of one subject with different exposure time settings into an image with an extended tonal range. The program supports files in JPEG and RAW formats, allowing you to generate HDR from both single photos and entire series of photos.

However, one should take into account that in order to achieve an interesting effect it is not enough to take a single photo. It is best to work with three photos of the same frame taken with a tripod and different EV (Exposure Value) exposure values. When creating an HDR image, EasyHDR first crops the image and then performs a tone mapping process.

In both processes, the program initially uses standard settings, later giving the user the possibility of manual modification and correction.
