DXWnd is a program that allows you to run computer games in a window. Although many productions offer the function of window play, in the case of some titles, either the creators did not foresee such a possibility, or the window is tiny and we do not have a way to enlarge it. That's why DXWnd tool was created, addressed to fans of classic computer games, such as Diablo II.
If you want to start the game using Dxwnd, you should first place it in the main window of the program. To do this, click the "edit" button and then select "add" from the drop-down list. We can simply specify the name of the game and the path of access, but the program offers much more configuration options for more demanding customers.
Once you have done this, in the main window of the program click "ppm" on the previously added title and select "run" from the drop-down list. DXWnd allows you to define the location of the window, change the resolution, add various compatibility options, display the image in several modes (e.g. VGA and HDMI), change the number of colors, as well as adjust the number of frames per second.
All this makes it easy to play older productions on newer equipment by modifying the settings to suit your preferences.
