DVD Author Plus is a tool that combines the most commonly used functions to create various types of compilations and burn them to DVD media. The program is equipped with a well-thought-out and easy to use graphical interface. Individual tools responsible for performing specific operations are placed on a special bar in the upper part of the main window.

You will find functions allowing you to create and burn DVD-Video discs, compatible with most stationary DVD players, burn to a data carrier, create and burn a disc backup (ISO image), directly copy the contents of one medium to another (required to have two drives, including one burner), as well as delete a rewritable disc. The program also provides a lot of detailed information about the drives installed in the computer, as well as the media contained in them. The most interesting feature offered by DVD Author Plus is undoubtedly the option to create and burn DVD-Video media.

It allows you to record very quickly and conveniently on multimedia discs, which can be played on home theater without any problems. Like working on data compilations, the drag-and-drop method is also supported, allowing you to easily add more videos, clips, etc. to the compilation.

Unfortunately, there aren't many settings among the output configuration options - the user can choose only the disc title, aspect ratio (4:3, 16:9), video format (NTSC, PAL) and picture quality. It is also not possible to create menus for DVDs with movies from the program level. DVD Author Plus supports CD-Rs, CD-RWs, DVD-R3200+Rs (including dual layer media), DVD-RWs and DVD-RAMs.

Recording can be done in TAO, SAO and DAO modes with the possibility of creating multi-session drives.
