DiskInternals Linux Reader is a program that allows you to read the contents of disks working in file systems typical for Linux (Ext2, Ext3, Ext4 or ReiserFS). It can also handle Maka filesystems: HFS and HFS+.
Therefore, it is a convenient solution for people using both Unix and Windows systems, who want to be able to read data from disks connected to the PC. For easy navigation, the Linux disk is displayed in the application window in a way familiar from Windows - in the form of icons and an easy to use Explorer that works similarly to that of Microsoft. In a similar way we can switch between different views, e.g.
thumbnails or lists. After clicking on a selected folder it is possible to view its details in the lower part of the window. It will also show the contents of a file, if you click on one that the program is able to read (e.g.
the contents of system files in hexadecimal form). Program settings allow you to select, among other things, the attributes to be presented in columns and the way of saving the names of selected elements. The application offers many options related to the view - it is worth testing additional panels that can be displayed (the selection is made from the "View" menu on the top toolbar).
