On the bar you will find a lot of helpful information such as time, calendar, tasks, news, stock market quotations, contents of the Inbox folder from Outlook, notebook, RSS reader (defined Polish channels - e.g. news from Gazeta Wyborcza), information about the weather, as well as buttons for Windows Media Player.

The latest version of Desktop Sidebar is theoretically "beta", which means that Desktop Sidebar is still in the process of testing and potential errors may occur. According to the vortal policy we do not publish good programs on our pages that are in beta-tests. Exceptionally, however, we depart from this rule in this case due to repeated requests from the Readers to publish this type of tool, the steady operation of the version 1.05 Beta Build 116 made available on the vortal, as well as the fact that the author, for a long time now, has not released further versions of the program.
