The FPP Crysis shooter once squeezed the last juices from computer components, especially graphics cards. Years later, it is still worth to run it from time to time, to see how future-proof was the original technology used in it. Today, the continuously developed CryENGINE engine is the basis for many commercial and fan projects.
It is worth knowing what title the trail was going through. In the near future, American scientists are discovering a mysterious island in South China. The unit sent there dies without a trace and it is certainly not only about the activity of the local authorities.
Delta's team, equipped with the latest technologies, dressed in characteristic black suits, starts to search for it. It soon turns out that the enemy is not the local government, but mainly the real aliens. We play the role of a well-trained mercenary, who has a weapon that can be modified almost freely depending on the needs.
In addition, there are several modes of the suit's operation, from better resistance, through higher speed of movement, to strength or disappearance in the bush. The luminaire is still very impressive and it's a wonder what programmers were able to squeeze out of the PC already in 2007.... Demo version allows you to play the very beginning of the game, offering a tutorial and even tens of minutes of gameplay.
It should make a good appetite for more.
