CODIJY Pro (formerly Color Magic) is an easy-to-use tool that allows you to colour black and white photos. The process has been simplified as much as possible and comes down to marking masks for objects and selecting colors. Use simple tools such as the classic pencil with manual or straight lines, gradient pencil, eraser, paint bucket, sampler, and decorating pencil to select object masks.

Work in the program can be done in a window with one panel or with the view of editing and result at the same time, but in the latter case the program will not calculate the changes live. Colouring the photo is done by marking objects with a pencil. You don't have to do it very precisely, because the program itself is great at finding edges and overlapping colors on areas - it's important not to cross the boundaries of objects when masking.

The colours can be selected from both the palette and the library attached to the program. There are color palettes for skin, landscapes, plants, buildings and many other popular objects. There is also a possibility of colouring with the use of a template in the form of a photo.

Use the Gradient Capture tool to load the master image. Then you can take a few colors suitable for the scene and draw a gradient pencil line to determine the coloration. Then you can transfer colors not only by downloading a point value, but also on a "larger scale".

The unfinished work can be saved in MGD format, which will be correctly read by Color Magic on any platform. The finished image can be exported in JPG, BMP, TIFF, PNG and several other formats. The results depend primarily on the accuracy of the masking, but are commendable.
