BurnAware Free Edition is a powerful, yet completely free application for burning CDs/DVDs and Blu-Ray discs. A huge advantage of the program is not only its zero cost, but also very simple and intuitive operation. Considering the capabilities of the application, BurnAware can even in its free version completely replace expensive programs such as the Nero package.

It offers equally great possibilities, which will suffice for even more advanced home users (e.g. BDMV and AVCHD support). Its functionality includes not only burning various types of discs, creating and copying images, but also a few custom, very useful tools.

The program offers such options as burning ready-made ISO images, creating your own compilation of data discs, AudioCDs from WAV, MP3, WMA files, and DVD Video discs. BurnAware Free Edition supports all hardware interfaces (IDE/SCSI/USB/1394/SATA) offering data storage on media such as CD-R/RW, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, BD-R/RE, HD DVD-R/RW, DVD-R-RAM and even Blu-Ray. The application also handles on-the-fly recording, automatic verification of recorded files and the creation of so called multisession recording.

It also allows you to create bootable discs and images, verify recorded media, and erase RW discs. All this in the Polish language version.
