Better File Rename is an easy-to-use tool for renaming selected files on a Windows computer. When you run Better File Rename, simply add individual documents or entire directories (e.g. drag and drop) and then define the rules for renaming files.

You can add prefixes, suffixes, text, characters, tags, or many other items, modifying not only the name of the files, but also their extensions. Once you have set the options, you can start renaming files by clicking the "perform renames" button. Better File Rename can of course work in batch mode, modifying the names of hundreds or even thousands of documents in a short time.
