Long before such series as Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter became a permanent feature on the market, computer scientists had already been playing battles. One of the unquestionable hits of Commodore 64 and beyond was Barbarian: The Ultimate Warrior.
There were no colorful characters to choose from. We simply played one of the two muscular barbarians. The Barbarian Returns project is a return to ancient times.
Two warriors enter the arena with a figure reminiscent of the famous Conan. They hold big swords in their hands. We play with a friend or a computer opponent, and the title also supports playing on the local network.
The goal is to defeat his rival by hitting him until all the health balls visible in the corner of the screen are taken away. The blows are inflicted with a single button, but this does not mean that the game is simple. Depending on the direction held, the attack will be launched in a different way.
The most dangerous is the coup from behind the head, because if we do not manage to block it ourselves, we can be shortened to the shoulders. With a bit of luck, the battle can be ended with a single swipe of the blade, but usually it won't be that easy. In most battles, gradual fatigue and bleeding of the opponent will count.
