Aztlan: Rise of the Shaman is an interesting 3D platformer, but in the old style. This means, among other things, a fairly high level of difficulty of the challenge.

Although the game uses a system of checkpoints, they have been spaced so far apart that falling into a lava will hurt, but at the same time not too much, so you just try to make it happen. Nevertheless, it is a proposal mainly for fans of the genre. The main character is the title character, endowed with special powers shaman.

First of all, the protagonist is able to jump high, which is, of course, a basic issue in this kind of productions. For this he has a spiritual shot, which sometimes can also be strengthened by fire. In this way we eliminate our opponents on our way.

The set closes the power of climbing plants. Thanks to them we are able to lift rock blocks. The latter is used to solve simple logic puzzles.

Sometimes you just have to break down a wall or tip over a column to go further. Aztlan is a title strongly inspired by the protoplasts of the platformer trend, with efficient control. It is characterized by a decent graphic design referring a bit to the Mayan culture.

From the sound point of view, the project is also above average.
